Her nickname is "snory Gauri" because she makes a snoring sound when she eats. For some reason Gauri's horns are pointing downwards. She is at the bottom of the herd's food chain which means that Gauri has to wait for permission from the others before she is allowed to join them at the feed trough. She seems to understand and accept her position. She is not at all shy however, when it comes to accepting treats from humans. In that situation she will often push her way to the front of the line. Gauri is not fond of cold weather and for that reason she wears a blanket throughout the winter. One year we had to bring her into the house to warm up for a few days during an extremely cold period of weather.
