Target Market
According to Stats Canada there are now 500,000 people from Hindu and Sikh backgrounds living in Western Canada, and
that population segment is increasing every year. However, anyone from any religious or ethnic background who understands that the cow is a sacred animal is especially welcome. In addition we want to raise the awareness of the Canadian society in general byproviding first hand experience of the soothing and calming effects of being with sacred protected cows. The Ahimsa Goshala is not a business investment. It is a spiritual investment. There may or may not be material rewards for making an offering to Go Mata, but more than that this, it is an opportunity to invest in the spiritual welfare of the entire human population.

Current alternatives
At present If you are from an Indian background and
are living in Canada your only option for making offerings to Go Mata is to travel to India or to send an overseas donation. If you want to interact directly with Go Mata
locally, or to access her dung or urine you have to visit a commercial dairy where she is grossly exploited, certainly not a holy atmosphere. Even then it is not the breed of hump cows mentioned in the Vedas.
